How do we nozzle check the white ink?

When we do a nozzle check of course it checks 4 colors but how do we check the white ink. The white ink seems to work when it wants. The kiosk 2 is constantly stirring the white ink, we did a ink fill and when we go to print the white ink doesn't print. What can we do to nozzle check the white ink???

nozzle checks include the white ink.. so you should have all your colors and white in the nozzle checks...

so when you do a nozzle check and you see that white isn't there or a particular color is not there then you have a problem.

You need to do nozzle check every time you start the machine. This is vital step in your operation, this takes the tone for your print jobs. If there is any missing lines and they are not perfect than you need to find the source of the problem.

It could be many things.. you say the Kiosk 2 is constantly stirring the white ink Do you have the WIMS System??

Thanks for the info. I'm really learning how important those nozzle checks are.
Do you have the WIMS system on your Kiosk 2 that stirs the ink continuously?
If you are using white ink just doing nozzle checks is not enough! If this is all you do most of the time you are going to have clogging issues! You need to print that white ink at least a couple of shirts different day during the week!

did you go to training?? Do you have the step by step maintenance posters?

If you did not go or you don't have it.. contact SWF immediately and get the poster.

Head cleans and nozzle checks aren't enough for maintenance..
To answer the questin, nozzle checks on white ink can be done on a piece of plexiglass. I would suggest a small (roughly 8 x 11) plexiglass window pane from Home Depot so that you can see the white ink.

Hope this helps.

I just use clear ink jet slide material Same as used to print for overhead projectors.
