How do i get an outline on an image to be solid so i can use it as an underbase i have corel x4. when i go to print the seps it just wants to print the outline and i want it to be solid

create 2 images, fill the second and outline with a wider line than original. Color you designate it matters not. It will print black anyway when you choose print separations.

You can also convert the outline to a curve by clicking it then pressing ctrl+shift+Q. Then if you need the outline to be a solid underbase, you can break it apart by pressing ctrl+k, and while still leaving everything selected (no clicking outside) you can weld everything together and have one big solid underbase to make any color you want!

or convert the stroke (line) to an object.

you can also use "creates a new object that surround the selected objects "( the little button top right, beside the align button). by selecting an outline and giving it an outline behind object (outline tool)...convert outline to object and break curve apart you can have a choke...tho' it's probably the hard way ...i use it alot for vinyl signs.
