I'm trying to figure out how fill an object with a pattern that is combined with a fountain fill (sorry I don't know a better way to describe it).
I have uploaded an image as an example of what I want to do.
Please note, I am not recreating this design, it is just the fill pattern that the customer wants in their design.

The design starts as solid white at the top and solid gray at the bottom with a fading 2 color diamond pattern in the middle.

The issue is they don't want different transitioning(?) pattern in a normal football shape. Orange at the top with triangles changing to teal on the bottom.

I have no clue how to do this in CD X6 (or with any other software for that matter)

Is this what you want to achieve? There may be a more efficient way to do this but I haven't seen it yet.
