I found reference of another machine of this model for sale quoting a 2007 manufacture date: Happy HCD 1501-40 15 Needle, 1 Head Embroidery Machine 2007 w/Digitizing

You may have already done this, but perhaps look for any stickers on the machine, or look in the service / user manual and there may be a date listed there.
