I have a Hotronix heat press that is several years old. Not the clam type, but the swivel type. Does anyone know anything about repairs? My heat press won't get hot anymore. Can a do-it-yourself person fix this? My husband is pretty handy with all sorts of repairs. Please help.

Before turning your husband loose on it I would try a couple things.Check to make sure the fuse has not blown. It could be in unit itself with a visible access..round button...or maybe a reset button. Check your plug and cord to make sure it is not the problem. other than such obvious things and it still not working...why not let hubby try..oh...second thought...some presses like my older hix hobby has an inline fuse that is accessible after removing cover and I had to get this from Hix. You might call hotronic to see if your unit has inline fuse
