High Quality Name Brand T-Shirts that can be purchased *retail*? Not a business

I'm looking for a high quality shirt and was wondering if anybody knew if name brand t-shirts such as Calvin Klein or ones purchased at high end retailers such as Saks or Nordstrom are a good option. They usually cost about $10 each, which to my knowledge is still cheaper than American Apparel.

are you talking about blanks? cause you can get american apparel for less. I would never, and I doubt anyone on this forum who knows what they're doing, pay anywhere near $10 for a blank shirt, no matter what brand it is.

get dialed in with a supplier and you will be surprised at how cheap you can get quality shirts for

Yes, I'm talking about simple blank shirts. I do not have a company, I am just a person looking for quality t-shirts for normal everyday wear.
Is this the popular t-shirt that everybody likes from American Apparel? I'm surprised it's so expensive.

yes thats the one. I'm not sure you would be able to get your calvin klein or nordstroms supima shirts wholesale.. but you definitely can with AA
If he doesn't have a company AA won't wholesale to him. Also AA isn't a fan of wholesale pricing being posted in public forums.

Best bet would be a public reseller like blank apparel or jiffy shirts etc

Or talk to a local screen printer about buying blanks at case pricing.

I just checked both of those websites and neither carry American Apparel. What would be a good second choice in terms of a quality blank t-shirt?
TrendyBlanks.com has Alternative Apparel and other quality brands that you can buy directly
Bella is good, alternative apparel seemed a little flimsy to me.
So these shirts, which would be $10 a piece, are not a good deal? If I don't go with these, I'll probably just buy Hanes Beefy-T. I know American Apparel is supposed to be good, but since I don't have a seller license, I can't get them at wholesale price.
There are some shoe stores in the mall like Foot Locker and Champs that good quality everyday t shirts. I hope this helps.
