First to get the correct colors you'll need a ICC profile for the ink your using written for the printer your using.

As for the complete transfer of the colors we would need to know more about how your doing it,
Type of ink, type of paper, heat press settings as far as temp, pressure, and duration, and a picture of what your encountering would be helpful.
