Looks like a great forum here. My wife and I are relative newbies to the T-Shirt biz. We were wondering if our first experince with a T-shirt printer is 'normal', or should we expect more?
We had contracted a neighbor to qty. 200 tees for us. They were 1 color images (black on white shirts and white on black shirts) on the front only. The image was an outline / blueprint of a car, about 2 pt. line width. The image was approx. 11 inches wide and 3 inches tall.
Several of the images (about 40 shirts total) were off center, crooked and /or skewed. He also let one XXXL drag into an ink bucket and he had to dryclean about 10 shirts that had residue on them (3 were ruined). The printer (very reluctantly) agreed to reprint the flubs, but many of them didn't turn out much better.
