hi everybody.
I just bought a heat press and I have no idea to what tempreture to put it for printing on a cotton t-shirt. Also how long do I keep the press donwn I need to know. can someone help me with this.::confused:
The answers to those questions depends on what type of transfer process you are using. When you purchase the transfer media (inkjet, laser, vinyl etc) it will come with instructions and if for some reason it does not then post on the forum and perhaps somebody has used the same product.

What do you plan on using?

Hi Yvonne, it's all a mystery at first aint it.
If you are printing on a white cotton T using an inkjet printer on to something like Transjet 2, then I would suggest: Temp 175 deg centigrade, dwell time 10 seconds, pressure medium to high.

If using Jetpro soft stretch then the same as above but the dwell should be around 30 seconds.
Remember to peel hot with these types of transfer papers.
