I started this business in March. I learn something new almost every, single day. Here's what I learned today.

I learned not to take a stack of brand new, blank t-shirts ordered for a customer and place them on top of my heat press (it was off) while looking for a different size. When I grabbed the stack off of the heat press, every shirt was smudged with black grease. Ugh. I had never noticed that the steel rods where the heat press handle opens up and clamps down were coated with black grease.

So.....any newbies out there -- your heat press cannot double as a table. :)

I'll try to wash them, I guess, but it doesn't look promising.

Everyday. Something.

Good luck with washing them. Thanks for sharing, it seems like I've been learning everything the hard way (doing it wrong it the first time or 3). These forums have been so helpful, so thanks for posting, and I'll try to remember to not make this mistake also!
