have you tried using the import feature instead?

my corel draw files will not come up...it says there us a problem reading file..C:/users/jan?desktop/tennis is my passion the file will not come up..

Nope It doesn't allow me to get the files...Plus I need to get you to put back my advanced artist on my computer. Not sure what to do at this point except hit the computer and throw it in the pool.

Been there done that got the t-shirt. email the file to artist[USER=6164]@AdvancedArtist[/USER].com let me take a look at it.And you have turned off your computer and reopened Corel Draw?
I threw it in the pool and got another computer...Not really..lol..After I bought this new computer the other one started working.>>GO FIGURE>>> I left a message for you guys in Advanced Artist.
