I`m trying to learn about putting heat transfers on shirts. My machine is manuel, I can`t get it right. I have wasted shirts and transfers only can get 2-3 out of 10. How do I know I`ve got the right pressure?
Usually can do the dollar test . . . Put a dollar on the press that just hangs of the edge and close the press in the lock position. If you can pull the dollar out while it's closed, then more than likely the pressure is to light. Just takes time and practice.
to get a better feel on what you are doing...we need to know
1) what paper are you using...the source and make
2) what printer are you using
3) what ink are you using
4) what material...cotton, polyester, 50/50 or:
5) what temp/time/pressure
