I have had a Roland VS300 for 3 years now & am almost totally happy with it. If you are buying a new Roland today I'd get the model that can use a Light Black Cartridge, this will give you solid grays, mine produces very dotty grays. Most rolands now have 8 cartridges, I'd get CMYK + the light CMYK's, this will give you the widest possible range of colors. You can't change the color cartridges later very easily. White & Silver are also available but I believe you will have trouble with them drying up if not used on a daily basis. I've had very little trouble with the Roland & highly recommend it. Best of luck.
