Hello everyone,
im totally new to the business and i have no clue what to price stuff for..i was thinking $10-20 for single custom shirts but with bulk orders i have no idea. i spent 1.79 for white shirts and 3.96 for black shirts. i have a vinyl cuter/plotter,yudu,and airbrush gun and compressor. I have been getting a lot of people interested in getting bulk orders done so before i give them a price i was wondering if anybody could give me some advice as to how to calculate the pricing.

Thanks in advance

You really have to figure out your production rate per hour and take into account all of your overhead. Rent, electricty, insurance, employee hourly labor cost, etc. need to be factored in. Another thing you need to look at is the time you spend dealing with the customer. Some will make it easy for you, and others will require a lot of going back and forth. Once you get that figured out then you need to figure out how much you need to make to not only cover expenses, but to make you a profit that you are happy with.

I think it's worth checking out other printers contract prices that are posted online. A non contract job should be priced higher, but this might give you a better idea what other printers charge per color per side etc.

Obviously, I do not recommend copying another printer's prices. Each shop has different overhead costs and this could certainly do more harm than good.
