Hi

You could probably still save the screen, but sometimes the only way to clean it out is to use a heavy duty screen cleaner. Did you use waterbased or plastisol paint? Plastisol shouldn't get stuck in the screen unless you got it close to the heat and it started curing (in which case the screen is probably not usable anymore). If you cannot get the paint out, I have found that the emulsion stripper actually gets most inks out, but it would ruin any existing image you have on the screen. Still probably better than throwing away an expensive screen.

Good luck

I think what you are seeing is called a ghost image....the mesh is stained with the INK...not paint.
you need a ghost remover which you can get at most screen printing supply stores....spray the mesh with the gost remover and scrub with a scrub brush and let it sit for a few minutes then wash it out.

Inked

I use a screen opener called "Camie 480 Screen Opener. One qucik squirt of this does the trick every time for me. Otherwise a good wash from my Power Washer machine knocks out every bit ink/emulsion from my screen in the reclaiming process
