I have two orange paints on hand that are both wrong for a job I am doing. One is Pantone 156 C which is too light and the other is Dark Orange from IC that is too dark. By using one of these base paints, how do I mix with another color to achieve a color between the two oranges on hand?

try mixing the two oranges at diff ratios and see what u can come up with...then use small amounts of white or yellow or both to lighten...but i wouldnt use a black to darken...try using a brown if u need to darken an orange. remember it doesnt have to be exact...a general rule of thumb is that it needs to be within 10% as close to the color u r trying to match...an untrained eye wont realize a difference in color less than 10%...good luck
