I want to design a shirt to raise money for a our best friends 12 year old son. He was in sledding accident with my husband this week and has a severe head injuries.

I would appreciate any suggestions or websites for inspiration. Something simple but really cool for his friends and adults alike.

what are you trying to do? my first thought was something like a design touting sports safety and helmets, but that could be misinterpreted as tasteless after the fact.

it's really hard to even imagine anything without some background.

if there's any good humor now that the worst is past (i loved joking with the nurses when i was in the hospital myself, so this is where my frame of mind is coming from) you could always go to the old cliche

"tommy survived his sledding accident and all i got was this stupid teeshirt"

you'd know better than me how that one would go over than me
