Ok so im trying to print a hand drawn image (a tree) and im trying to print like it was hand drawn on the shirt. what would be the best way to convert the scanned image onto a film? the input resolution is 300dpi. Dithering? bitmap? thanks for any help

We do this for schools and just scan in at 600-1200 DPI. On multicolor jobs I use photoshop and channel separate so that it's exactly as drawn.

You'll need to halftone it to get the tones to print, otherwise it will just be a stark black & white, which even with a black and white drawing loses character.
