Help with fade in Corel design for DTG printing

1406 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Alisignart
I'm new to DTG printing and having trouble with the below image in Corel printing on dark shirts.

The sunset fade in the image lays down a complete white backing.
When the purple lays down, it looks great, except where it's supposed to "fade" into the background (ie... dark shirt color). Instead, it fades into a white from the undercoat.

Any suggestions on how to set this up so the sunset fades to the shirt color rather than to the white undercoat?

The sun uses a transparency fade effect on a full purple object.

Thank you in advance!

Try using the Color Layer Auto-Mask (black background) and make a black (100%K) square behind the image.

Thank you KD, I'll give it a try and let you know how it turned out.
Hi I would remove your transparency and straighten your half sun back to a your horizon line and then redraw your half moon as seperate object and blend fill with you purple and colour match of your shirt. That way there is no transparency filter which seems to cause few issues at times when printing on other materials too. You can also change colour whenever you change shirt colour then too. Hmmm.. hope that helps.
