I have a cookies plate I am doing for Xmas and need help with lining it up with my charge plate I bought. I have it almost there, but can't quite figure out how to get it to work on the circle perfectly. I am not the greatest at Illustrator and that is what I have. Anyone that can help me?

Like this. My plate is 12" across the bigger part and 9" across the middle circle. So I make a 12 and 9" circle in illustrator and tried to do that, but it came out slightly off because I couldn't figure out how to get the wording on the bottom without moving the circle.

If I'm reading this right it's 12 inch top to bottom but 9 wide.?
Using serif I'd make two 9 inch circles, text around the top line of one and bottom of the other, (make the line of the circle through the middle of the text) crop the circles empty space away and then place them 12 inches apart, filling in the centre with the text and adding gingerbread men after. you'd also need to format spacing of text so the letters are not so close together.

It is a charger plate and the whole plate is 12" wide and the inner circle is 9" wide (the clearer section). I put a picture of it up. The one I did, when I printed it was very close, but when I tried to move the lettering around the circle it changed things so it is slightly off. I really want to get it right so I can just change the wording or pictures but have a template to do things. Thanks!
