Hi everyone. I am new to this industry and I am trying to find a way to get shirts with a custom color. I am aware of the prints for designs and 4 color layouts but what I am trying to accomplish is having the entire shirt as the one color I provide (instead of a all white shirt, it would be another whole singular color). The color I am trying to work with is using RGB /CMKY

HEX #020f1f
RGB rgb(2, 15, 31)
CMYK cmyk(94%, 52%, 0%, 88%)

If anyone could provide me with any guidance on where I can get this accomplished, I would greatly appreciate it. Google search did not yield the best results.

Thank you

Your best bet would be to use Pantone numbers. This will keep the guess work to a minimum and color consistency will be MUCH better between lots.

The answer to your question will vary depending on the desired material.

If it's polyester, then it can be sublimated onto white polyester fabric before or after sewing to get the desired color. If it is dyed BEFORE assembly, then the closest matching thread color will have to be used to sew the shirt together. A wide format sublimation printer and a very large heat press will be required.

If it's cotton, then you'll want to start with a white cotton fabric or assembled tee and dye the cotton fabric to the desired color. Same thing here for the thread. I would guess that it would be easier to dye the shirt after assembly since it would go into a bath of the desired color to soak, then set it so it's colorfast.

Another option is to have a manufacturer make the apparel to your specs and colors, but minimums would apply.
