So I seemed to have gotten my heads fixed up (cleared/cleaned)
http://www.t-shirtforums.com/printers-inks-inkjet-laser-transfers/t115571.html

Now the color is a little wonky.

Here is the source JPG followed by a scan of it printed on the photo setting (1st in strip) then there is a picture of the print outs with my camera (Canon 50D) to try and eliminate the scanner being a cause for what is seen here. The strip has it printed out 3 different ways (photo quality, text quality, text quality with color management turned off).

I (nor my wife) have never messed with color profiles... what do we need to do to fix this issue?

I know this isn't a "photo printer" but it should be doing better than this right?

Also, this is all printed on plain paper.

You need to use the correct profile for your inks along with the right driver settings.
What brand ink?

One big step is to set the color mode in the driver to "off no color adjustment"

Let me know.

Hmm... I'm using heat transfer pigment kit from inkjetcarts.us.

Oddly Ross from inkjetcarts just said NOT to use "no color management".

*shrug*

I plan on messing with it some more today.
