Did your myspace page get shut down? I wouldn't send them anything until you are absolutely ready. Website, online and/or print catalog with item #S, item sheet/pricelist, and the ability to fill large orders. It will do you no good if they like your merchandise; they put in an order for 300 per item, and you can't fill the order.
I completely agree with Unik. While it may be a dream to start out, submitting to retail giants like these two takes great preparation, and sometimes they may even require that you have been in business for a couple of years before they decide to make an agreement with you.

Oh and make sure you have plenty of cash reserves... these places usually tend to take around 60 days to pay their bills
But what are they looking for in an introductory letter, and what is a line sheet
