HELP! What about pockets?

I'm working on a toddler Tee with a pocket, the design I have (just lettering) goes over the seam of that pocket.....will this work?
I am using Siser easy weed.:confused:

This may not be the right forum, I wasn't sure where to ask.

Anytime I use vinyl over a seam I put something under the material on both sides of the seam to raise the material so that it is higher than the seam.
