Much help appreciated .

I have bought a second hand Toyota expert AD860 , working order i have seen it working.
Now bought myself a USB rs232 converter to connect my laptop to it.

Software supplied is Pantograms , together with dongle.
Software wont install , get an install error. using windows 7

So i though no problem , i also have EMbird and can make a connection wit that.

Still no luck i get Connect error RS232C on the machine , maybe it is the cable or maybe the software so i am asking if anyone has that program Pantograms that installs OK on windows 7 so i can test that cable.

Or another software that is 100% working with the AD860

Windows 7 is too new of an operating system to run your pantograms software. What do you have, forte or something even older?


We keep a computer with windows XP in order to run all of our old pantograms software.

Thanks for the reply ,
Actuallty last night i got the machine talking to my laptop.

What i had was : Connection machine Serial 9 pin , connection to laptop 25 pins , i used a piece to convert the 25 pins to 9 pins again and connected to my serial usb converter.

Everything is running smooth , data transfer offcourse.

Using windows 7 and EMbird.
