Hi Lola
Here's a video showing how it's done using a plotter/cutter

Lola, Rhinestones are applied with a kind of soldering iron or a heat press. With the applicator 'wand' type you pick up each stone with the hot iron and then press it to the garment. They are quite durable when properly applied. You can also buy pre-made designs made with rhinestones. I bought an applicator to try it out but haven't used it yet apart from playing with it. It seemed very fiddly but could be good for bespoke garments.
The best thing to do is to go to YouTube and search 'Rhinestone' or 'Rhinestone Application'. You'll get lots of visuals there including a whole rhinestone system from Ryonet. There are all kinds and colours of rhinestones including studs.

I use the Roland GX24 cutter from Xpres and also a clam heat press machine, they supply r wear software which enables you to design your images. Easy to use and great fun too. Xpres actually invite you for an in house demonstration. You are there for the whole day and they show you everything that the machines can do. They also supply the materials needed also
Thanks Jim. I found out that Xpres is in England. Do they have distributors in the US? or did you order their product from England?
Hi Lola
I believe the system in the video is by Roland so I should imagine it is available in the US but I'm not familiar with distributors there as I'm in England.
