This images could be screen printed using a halftone. The image could be either printed with white ink or with a discharge ink.

To print these the most realistic this is probably a 3 to 4 color job.

Separate the art work is taking the art and working with it usually in Photoshop and create separate channels for each color to print to make the image. This proabably would have a white, and a few shades of grey.
