Hi everyone,

Yes I am a newbie and all that implies. What i need help with is my r31 series cutter. I know it is a starter cutter but that is what my entry level monies will allow right now. I am trying to cut rhinestone templates and need to know what speed and pressure most people are finding acceptable. I can't seem to hit that perfect mix! How many passes should i be using? Please help someone. I cant seem to get it to cut enough to be able to weed it. sometimes it doesnt cut complete circles but i am working that out but i just cant seem to get a clean cut through. I am using a 60 degree blade also.

your blade should normally be out about half the thickness of a credit card. You should also be using a 60 degree blade...suggest one from Clean Cut Blade they are super and out last OEM.. try two passes...but first to a small test cut..most cutters have that function built in. If you are using a 45 degree blade, you will not do very well
