Hey everyone,

I'm having a hard time quoting a customer for their
basketball team jerseys. They want a reversible jersey
that has custom name and number on the back (white vinyl)

but it would be twice since they would want it on both sides.
Including this a one color screen print on the front for 27 pieces. I don't really do vinyl so, i don't know what to charge or what is reasonable.

I go to someone else to get them done and just for the custom name/number its going to be $8 each for just one side.

So $16 total for just the names and numbers which doesn't even include the screen printing charge OR the jerseys. I thought it was a bit high.

That is a retail price you are being quoted. Look to Stahls, Dalco, Transfer Express for name/number drops for the jersey. Basically you will quote the jersey at 100% markup (50% margin) and the decal at $8-$14 per side (front and back on the reversable so $16-$28 per for the print) and then if you want you can give a discount from there. So if the jersey is retail $25 and you are doing reverse logo/name/number at $16 then you are at $41/ea. From there offer a discount if you want but be careful on this as you will get hammered if you make a mistake on one or they come back and want 'just one more' for the same price.
