I bought a used but clean tee-z-tex conveyor dryer a lil over a year ago. About 3 months ago, the belt speed would periodically fluctuate from slow to fast then just stopped completely. I though it was the motor so I purchased a new one and once it was on, the belt still didn't work. I opened the panel and noticed what I think is a re-set button. When I pushed it, the belt started up. Cool it works....so I thought. It worked fine for about a week and the re-set switch kept popping out causing the belt to stop. I would push it in and it would start again. I bought new fuses to see if that would help. It did, but only for about two weeks. Now, it doesn't trip the re-set anymore but it has picked up speed too fast to cure my shirts. Even at the lowest speed setting of "0" it runs faster than the highest setting of "10". And "10" runs triple now. Any idea anyone? The manufacturer hasn't returned my calls.

not having a dryer I really can't help but here is some idea's.

1) did you call the company that makes the dryer. they might be able to help.

2) it appears there is a short somewhere in the system that is causing the button to pop and that might be a fuze button your pushing to reset it.

I don't know what else to tell you but I hope for the best for you since dryers are not cheap by any means if you have to totally replace it.
