Hey!! I have a customer who is a designer that uses a program called in Design to make his graphics and then saves them in .cdr format. For some reason I can not open this file using Corel X4....Would anyone be willing to give it a shot and send back to me in Version 14. I think this may be the problem, but not sure......HELP!!!! PLEASE!!!!!

X4 is 14 I have x3, x4, & x5 you can send it my way if the above post does not work out.

I just sent you an email. Nothing of mine would open it. Tell him to export it as a eps or pdf file and try that.

I do not think there is a way to save an In Design file as cdr....Sure he is not renaming the file to cdr which is useless....

Ohh and I forgot to mention that I saved the file to my hard drive and I could see the thumbnail proof of it but that was all I could do.

try opening it in Acrobat Reader?
