Ok so I have trialled all the transfer papers on the planet now. And I have come to the decision that if I want to print on white and dark garments with a nice soft natural feel to it, and not have to spend time fixing b paper glue sheets to a paper etc, then I need to venture into the solvent ink printer cutter world, where you literally just print onto a film and heat press to garment. Can anybody advise me on this please?

I second that. Plastisol transfers is the best way, but are expensive for multi-color.

All other transfer methods have limitations and durability issues. Even DTG is a pain.

Solvent printers print on vinyl sheets, and the transfers are not much better than those you can print on laser printer.

The film is not really vinyl the way... it is polyurethane. No idea why everyone keeps calling it vinyl.

That's right but I also have a question!
I live in Germany and is also my quest to print in black garmins with soft feeling and durability!
My quest also ended in polyurethane film for solvent - eco solvent printers because I have found polyurethane film 50μ (super thin)
I have not try it and I don't know the results of you make a T-shirt with so thin polyurethane film !
My question is has anyone try this?

I have try polyurethane film with his own transfer tape for inkjet printer with pigment inks !
The results was incredible!Bright colors and not crack after 2 years !
The only thing that I consider problem was the feeling (feel like a sticker)
This paper was 160μ or 180μ (I don't remember exactly)

That's why I need feedback for super thin polyurethane film 50μ or 80μ (this film I have found it only for solvent-eco solvent - latex printers)

The website that I have find this films that I have written above is the politape.de

In USA is the products from Politape also available but with another name

For example I use the vinyl from Politape the poliflex premium and in USA is called JOTO!

Maybe because of historic, common usage for a soft, flexible plastic - a generic term? Many Siser products, including EasyWeed, are polyurethane.
