If I were using the fabric assist I would choose a woven like "denim" but honestly I would handle the settings manually on an item like this. On the tight wovens you need minimal underlay, enough to tack the garment to the backing. You can use additional underlay for effect, like adding loft to the satins on lettering, but I'd keep it minimal. Pull comps the same, you won't need nearly as much on this material.
And I assume you informed your customer that their nice polyurethane coated water resist jacket is going to have lots of little holes that allow water to wick in along the thread? Unless you plan some sort of seal on the back it will wick any rain water like crazy.
Is this a lined jacket?
