Hi Guys,

I am fairly new to the t shirt business (heat transfer)and doing well with sales. I need some advice on where I can find some suppliers.

I currently use Gildan T shirts and hoodies, I find the garments are fantastic. The problem I am having is I need to stock longsleeve tees that go to size 5XL,(in Australia they only go to 3XL) and larger sizes for women, (round neck, short sleeves) again USA has 3 XL.

I know the USA has the stock however, I can't seem to get an account with a supplier there who ships to Australia

CAN ANYONE ADVISE ME ON WHO I CAN USE THAT STOCK GILDAN OR SIMILAR QUALITY PRODUCT IN THE USA THAT WILL SHIP TO AUSTRALIA?

Thanks to those in advance who can help me!

Cheers
Helen

Have you called Superior Activewear and asked them if they will bring them in for you?
Depending on how many you want, they may add them to their next order.
If you are only after small numbers, 10-20, they may not.

They have indicated to me in the past that they can get whatever is in the catalog, so they may do a special order for you.

If not, try the Gildan website (www.gildan.com) and look at the distributor list http://gildan.com/distributors/distributorlist/
Going this way will cost you a lot more, freight will be your killer.
So it may make your sell price too high compared to your other product.

The importer will only bring in what they think will sell.
But each year they add to the range as people let them know what they want.
A few years ago 2XL was as big as the went in Aust. Now they have 5XL in selected colours/styles.

Superior Activewear is the sole Austrlian Importer of Gildan. Everyone else around buys from them. If you are intend to purchase large quantities of around few hundred a month, they will probably let you open an account with them.

Otherwise your options are basically to go through one of their distributors:

Gildan Tee Shirts, Gildan Clothing - Branded Product Supplier

Tshirt.com.au

Full Range Gildan Line. T-shirts, Hoodies and Polo shirts. Also has online inventory

Gildan T Shirts

If you do a search on Google for "Gildan Wholesale" you'll find some others. I suggest you give them a call and see how fast they ship and what their customer service is like.

Superior Activewear also has online ordering, but only for account holders.
They have live stock levels, once you are logged in you can see what they have and don't have in stock.
If it is not in stock, next shipment due date is displayed.

When did you hear that? I literally just got an email from Superior Activewear talking about their new Gildan ranges coming in this year. Splashalley are middlemen, they order from Superior Activewear.

i used to use superioraw exclusively a couple of years ago...woke up one morning and their gildan page had disappeared, i was told they were no longer distributors...ever since then ive been using splash and hadnt thought to check back...but then again my memory is pretty rusty, can anyone else verify?
