Hello My name is Howard
I am new to using a Roland PC-60 for t-shirt printing. I have quite a bit of experience making full color stickers and cut vinyl, and have experience as well with using my Hix b400 heat press with hot split and cold peal applications, but need any input possible as to the process for using my PC-60 machine for printing color transfers for T-Shirts.

All I know is I need wax ribons. I was able to get them through Beacon Graphics.

Any help on this would be very apreciated.
:D

Thank You
Howard

Hi Howard

You need to source a print/cut material that is compatible with thermal wax printers - the Colorprint is one that will work and many suppliers offer it - there are two versions on the market, so be sure to get the one compatible. You will also need transfer mask to pick up your printed image after it has been weeded and cut.

You will print in the positive, cut, weed, mask then heat it. This will go to dark colored shirts as well. Good luck and post any specific questions.
