Hello -
I was hoping someone could help with a problem. I have a client who needs a vinyl installation on a wall. The wall is roughly 25'w x 10'h. The issue is, the wall curves, or maybe I should say "snakes"... imagine if you where looking from a top angle, would look like an "S".

How can I get an accurate measurement? I needto cover the wall entirely and dont have much room for error.

Thanks

use a tape measure used for clothing.

I would:
- take a non elastic tape like painters use (not a plastic tape that can stretch)
- fix it following the curves of the wall where the measure must be made
- if necessary mark beginning and end of the zone to be measured on the tape
- remove the tape and fix it flat on the floor to take the measure.

I hope you can understand what I mean, my english is...

Best regards.

the measuring tape thats for clothing would be great, just use your fingers and "walk" the tape...place finger to anchor and with othyer finger run with the wall. I'd be hesitant on applying tape and having to take it off..though it would work...what do you do if you lift some paint? or by chance it leaves glue behind...more to deal with.
