A kind person on here helped me extract parts of a picture so that I could load it into my silhouette for vinyl cutting/ laser printing. I have tried to DM to ask how he did it but not heard back yet. Can somebody please tell me how this was done? I will attach the original picture, followed by the 2 he extracted for me. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Hi. Don't expect an easy answer to this!
My preferred method is to take the image into Photoshop, do a Perspective Crop, clean it up into different layers of solid colour, then save out each layer as transparent PNG's ready for scanning/vectorisation in your cutting software.
I've tried the image you posted and this is what I came up with. Note that some of the layers look plain white, this is because they are white text and PNG's display as white-on-white in a forum post, but really they have transparent backgrounds. They also appear as black-on-black when you click an image so the best way to actually view them is to download them all.
There are EIGHT images in the attachments. Hover your mouse over to find them all (ie.when pointer changes to a pointing hand). I did this as a rush job, so there may be a little cleaning up to do on some of the images. ;-)
