Hi Everyone
I have been using wilcom truesizer for years with no problems until today

I plugged in my usb to transfer a design onto as I do everyday but today when I try to open up my usb stick in wilcom it comes up the following

'diskette error has occurred: 16'

I have tried formatting and even tried several new usb sticks but am still having the same error.
I have also tried to do the same from a different computer with wilcom trusizer but still having the same error code.
I have tried both quick and full format.

Has anyone encountered this problem before or know what this error code is?
Im in a bit of a spot as I have work that needs to be completed for tomorrow:(

Or is there anyway I can transfer the dst file to the usb so I can still run the logo to get me out of trouble?

Thanks any help is appreciated
Mat

save the dst file onto the desktop and then drag it onto the usb.

can you transfer any other files onto the usb?

Hi
yeah tried to just transfer dst files to the usb and put it into the machine, but embroidery machine is not reading it.

yes I can transfer files to the usb
Have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the software? Does it help if you right click on the icon and try to "run as administrator"?

ok so if the dst file is not corrupt then its the software on the machine thats got corrupt. so first try open the dst file from the usb on another computer. if it opens and works fine then you will need to call a tech to come reinstall the machine software. This is what I would do but maybe someone else may know better.
Hi everyone
I was able to talk to our emb machine tech today and have solved half the problem already.

All the new usb sticks I was trying to use were over 4GB, he has said they can only be 2gb max, something about the 16kilobytes etc etc not exactly technically sure why.

so I found a 2gb usb but still had the same error problem, however I was able to save the design file as a dst and just drag transfer it to the usb and embroidery machine successfully read the usb!

There is still a problem with the usb so I will get a new one from the tech where I purchased my original ones I have had for years.
maybe there is some kind of compatibility or driver issue someone said?
I've experienced a similar problem with flash disks....once corrupt they were trash.
