Hi Can anyone help me figure out how to clean up this image, I am trying to thin out the lines and make the more solid and whole.

I am trying to clean up in Photoship should I be using something else. Thus far Photoshop has been really well for seperations. Just having hard time cleaning up images.

You could erase the text or white it out. Save the image and open in inkscape from there trace bitmap and convert. This would make it look better and not so hand drawn.

You'd be better off using a vector program like CorelDraw or Illustrator. You could redraw the logo in vector right over the image fairly quick.

I used CorelDraw. It's great for vector images and reasonably priced.

illustrator is a great program for doing just what you are trying to do. Although it's expensive.

I use Inkscape (free) but it's not as "robust" as the commercial programs. You can at least get an idea of what vector graphic work is like before shelling out big bucks for Adobe Creative Suite.
