Hi all, I'm new here and new to t-shirt printing. I've bout a budget press to get me going to be starting my own tshirts for sale as well as for presents etc!

I'm thinking about the epsom 1400 printer as I have read that it is a good option for a starter. Is there any other printers I should be thinking about? Or can anyone recommend a tried and tested printer ink and paper solution???

I would like to do both print transparent to begin with ans and move into sublimination do you think it would be best to have 2 printers for this?

I'm also torn between poly mix or 100% cotton, I know poly mix is needed for the sublimination. But do you think I can get a good result with poly mix for the transparent aswell?

I hope I haven't bored you too much any pointers would be great.
Thanks:mad:

The 1400 has been discontinued.

I have a 1430, with a Cobra Ink pigment ink cis.

If you are going to get into sublimation as well as heat transfers I would suggest that you have a printer for both techniques.

Otherwise you will be changing cartridges flushing ink etc.
