Hello from Los Angeles!

I am a Graphic Designer who's really been wanting to offer my designs to national retailers. I have a few designs in mind and would just like to get an idea on how to go about it. I was thinking of getting locally made shirts and having them printed locally, as well--giving business to locals. How much money does this kind of endeavor require?
