I'm looking at starting a pretty small scale tshirt printing business with a friend. We currently don't have the funds to buy any expensive equipment, so we're starting off doing it the old transfer way. The one thing I was wondering, until we can afford a heat press, would a decent laundry press do the job, as long as it heated up to the right temperature? My logic is that you can use a domestic iron on the the transfers, but a laundry press would apply more even pressure on the garment. Not an ideal solution,but it might do for now. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
