Hello first off i would like to introduce myself and say an early thanks to all of you who read and reply to any of my post. Ok so I joined the form because i am getting my clothing line started, ive been looking to start this for years now and have some extra money now that i am able to risk. So my clothing line is going to be simular to obey,young&reckless,hurley,fox,famous etc etc i really like the obey shirts and qualitys of the shirt i pretty much want to use the same shirts and method of printing. I plan on selling tshirts/hoodies/long sleeve shirts/hats/girls wear such as shirts/tanks/and yogas Now i was wondering if there are any local print shops in nj that can handle and produce what im looking for. if there are no local ones are there ones that you guys prefer. Also can you give me advice on how to get started, different methods of starting etc i have about 10 designs that im going to do a pre launch with and i want to get s/m/l/xl 5 of each size and each desighn so approx 200 shirts for the pre launch. After read, i think the best choice for you get started is to find a good "printer" nearby you, do you have some favorite t-shirt on hands, right? like u mentioned, obey, hurley? and show them to your potential printers, and ask them if they can find any similar t-shirt and some other blank garments, and enquire if they can print same quality printing as your favorite. Since you have 10 different designs with an total order 200pcs, like 1 design 20pcs, to keep your cost down, find any printer who can do digital printing, screen printing isn't economical to produce your order especially when 1 design has different colors. For simple designs like only words or 3 color designs with high quality, I would recommend Vinyl Cutter and Heat Press.

For 200 shirts, you will be busy a very long time though.

I actually regret not starting with Screen Printing, because the cost per shirt on a large scale is actually cheaper.
