Hello to all -
I'm new to the forum and new to using a hand me down heat press! My husbands business could us some t-shirts and thought I would us this press.

So - it has a temperature gauge on it; when in the down position is has more "space" than a tshirt would take. I owuld think pressure would need to be applied to make the transfer work. The bottom has a think rubber pad and the top/heating element has a teflon surface.

Do I need to place a towel under my t-shirt to assure contact to the heat? And what temperature is the best? These are SUCH newbie questions - there may even be a book you would recommend!!

THANK YOU for all responses!!

welcome to the forums . as for as the heat goes it depends on the type of press you have and the material using .. look in the forums in the heatpress section and you find your answers if not post a new question
i hope this helps you:D
