Hello,

I'm new here and would like to say I'm excited about being involved in this site. My experience is in traditional graphics, specializing in sign, logo, and T-shirt design. I emphasize hand lettering and prefer using fonts/type styles that haven't been over-used. Believe it or not, I still illustrate by hand, and have done many projects in this manner since 1975...I scan my art and have a print shop output film, (usually having a course halftone dot pattern added to any shadows needed) then hand cut the color overlays (in layers) and then hand register the pieces. This assures me that the shop that screen prints my projects is printing exactly what I have created. On larger jobs I approve the project with a press check. One drawback to this old fashion process is finding the material to use to cut my overlays...
