Well.......my brother has wanted to start a clothing company for a long time but found it very difficult working full time plus. When I was getting frusterated in my full time job, the two us decided to just do it. As we both started to plan this adventure, I was laid off. It was a door that needed to close so I could pursue this business. Everything happens for a reason. Instead of getting depressed, I turned it around and rejoiced (receiving a severance package helped.) Immediately I took a 10-week class (one night a week) at Fashion Business Inc in the fashion district in Los Angeles (I'm from San Diego County) called “The Business of Apparel, Lessons for Survival and Success in the Fashion Business.” Although this class is more for designers, I highly recommend taking a class like this for ANYONE who is starting or even in the clothing industry. I can talk more about it later. Anyway….my brother found this site searching the web and introduce me to it, so here I am. I can’t wait to learn from you and hopefully I can teach you something, especially what I learned at FBI.
