"Seattle" Torture! What I'd give to be there right now!

I'm not sure if I'm qualified to welcome you, as I just began posting today! Its kinda like when flight attendants welcome you to a place that they are arriving at as well?! :)

Cheers!

I'm planning on marketing to a specific group of people with designing my own line and possibly offering custom printed tees. What do you have in mind? Are you looking more to invest in a shop/storefront or ???. I'm open to hearing ideas...

Hello SeattleSea, Im just down in Federal Way, If your interested in buying equipment try craigslist. Over the last 3 months I bought a 4/1 silver press, flash dryer, a nice exposure unit, about 25 Quarts of different colors inks, a epson 1800 printer, a ciss for it, film positives and EVERYTHING else you would need to print (cleaning supplies squegees ext.) and about 10 aluminum screens (brand new) for a little less then $1000. That is less then a small stock of shirts printed from a printer. But experience is what takes a lot more time and cost more then anything in waste. But I Love every minute of it!! just something to think about!! Welcome to the Forum!

Welcom to the BIZ. We are in Seattle as well and have been Embroidering and Screen Printing for 22 years now. About 6 years ago we added Direct to Garment printing. Good luck on your new venture.
