My name is Valik and I am starting a new shirt business. It will be actually 2 business models.
1 will be a line of custom t-shirts for a niche I'm in.
2 will be custom shirt printing, decals and signs services for the public.
I have some experience in this field from about 20 years ago, but thanks to YouTube, I remember most of it.
It's been my dream to start a shirt printing company and finally I am in the position to be able to buy most of the equipment I need without dipping into my family funds.
My plan is to do this on the side until it grows enough to be able to do it full time.
I am buying most of my equipment on Amazon, starting out with a cheapie 4 color 1 station press for $169. I know it's not ideal but I just want to get started and don’t want to pay $500 for the Jr press. I'll let the business profits pay for the upgrades when it does.
Buying chemicals and inks from Anthem Printing. Not sure if they are a good supplier or not but I just made a decision based on the prices and ease of use of their website.
Tried to find some of the equipment on Craigslist and other places used but no luck yet.
Any advise for a newbie will be welcome and appreciated!
