Hello everyone. I am new to the site and have some questions I hope all you more knowledgable people can help answer. I am starting a t-shirt business and want to use bamboo.The majority of my profits will be going to schools in my area that need help. Any of you know a good wholesale company to buy from. Second, do you suggest getting a screenprinting press or just outsourcing the work ? Thank you for your advice and wish you all the best

if you have never printed before i would suggest learning and getting use to printing of cotton and poly before jumping in with a more expensive fabric like bamboo. i have printed on bamboo a lot and it is a little tougher than cotton and poly

Hi and welcome! I'm new also! Anyways what is this 'bamboo' you're talking about? I'm sure you're not talking about the tree right? I'm very noob and I'm outsourcing my designs so I'm not really in the know with these materials.

Thank you for your advice. I was thinking of outsourcing for the screenprinting but wondered if it would be easier and cheaper to do myself

yes, they make shirts out of bamboo and they are so much softer than cotton. You should check them out

I have printed on bamboo before. they are awsome shirts and very soft but they are very thin and print well you just have to be careful when drying them.
