Have you contacted the supplier? Sounds like a faulty temperature controller.
Heatpress heating pass set temp
Ok.. I just purchased a new heat press. Ebay purchase! Yes I know lesson learned. But my problem is that my pid controller does not seem to be working.. If I set the temp to 100F.. The temp keeps climbing.. No matter what temp I set it to.. The temp keeps climbing and my press just keep getting hotter.. I have scorched a few shirts try to test it.. Any ideas?

I agree.. I opened up the back and powered it own.. I have the temp set to 150F. As it heated I watched my relay controller. The light stayed red until the unit reached 150F. After that, it went off.. So Im thinking its a bad pid controller. I will try replacing it. hoping its nothing esle.Have you contacted the supplier? Sounds like a faulty temperature controller.
